Most USA citizens are still unaware that their property rights have been shredded by this recent Supreme Court ruling. This ruling allows City/County/State Governments (GOVs) to take homes from private citizens for "economic development". This is Robin Hood in reverse - robbing the poor and giving to the rich.

Here is what can happen to YOU. You live in a group of homes that some developer decides would be perfect for a neighborhood shopping center. If they contact home owners directly, then the only way they are likely to get all the homes they need to demolish to build their project is to pay much more than market value (the price these homes would normally sell for) to get property belonging to people who do not want to move or sell their homes. Instead of doing this they can now go to the local GOV (City/County/State), and get them to confiscate your home (paying market value or less). This saves the developer both time and money, while robbing you of your neighbors of your "property rights".

Eminent domain is a right granted to the GOV in the Constitution to take land as needed for "public projects" like roads. It was not intended to be used by the GOV to take property from the poor[non-rich] and give it to the rich.

Now that the Supreme Court has changed the rules your local GOV can start taking homes in the name of "economic development". In fact these THEFTS are already begining. . Will YOU or someone you know (family, friend, etc) be the next victim???

The Supreme Court did leave one way to stop this from being abused. States can pass laws restricting how this ruling can be applied. This will only happen if YOU get active in an organization in your home state that is working to get proper restrictions passed by your state GOV.
